Issa Paris is a fusion bistro that combines traditional cuisines from France and Japan. Maud&co was approached by the client to craft a visual identity and the interior design. The logo follows the concept of a single line transforming into a carp and rooster referencing both cultures. The selected colour scheme: dark blue and pink salt echo the ocean and fish. The interior of the Bistro is arranged with a central L shaped kitchen, to create a comfortable working space for the chef whilst acting as a stage for customers to observe the food preparation. The material palette ( Black and Grey ceramic tiles, copper, steel and oak wood ) creates a modern and zen aesthetic contrasted by colourful works of art displayed on the walls.
